Case 3
A Complex Bank
ISILoans
Undoubtedly, the way in which this bank calculates and controls loans is the most complex in the industry. This is because its sources of funding come from international banks and organizations of global relevance such as the IMF (IMF) and the IDB (IADB), which impose their own operating rules. In addition, its loans are destined for government entities with particular financial schemes and usually with mixed currencies.
The complexity reached a point where the bank decided to acquire a new product to replace the three systems that supported loans management. In addition, they had to integrate another significant group of credits that, given their intricacy, were managed manually. They held several national and international competitions to find as suitable software, but no winners were declared. The competitions ended after ISILoans was presented, which proved to be the only solution that satisfied all the requirements.
