Case 1
Eight Systems vs ISILoans
ISILoans
The economic crisis in Mexico in the 1990s and the creation of Fobaproa led one of our clients, a commercial bank, to set several strategic objectives. Among those the improvement their lending processes was crucial.
At that time, the operations management and other areas involved were led by officials trained in Process Reengineering. They concluded that none of the eight systems they had in operation could properly manage the portfolio. However, they determined that ISILoans could not only manage the portfolio: it could even completely replace all eight systems.
The bank not only met its objectives with ISILoans: it quintupled its loan portfolio in two years without needing to increase its workforce and promptly regained control of the portfolio ceded to Fobaproa.
